Bruno is a fictional character from the comedy film: Bruno. Bruno is a gay fashion reporter in Austria. His boyfriend is Lutz. He gets fired from his job after which he decides to travel to United States and be a famous man there. He starts as a small reporter in NBC. He interviews different personalities from various walks of life but he always shows off his gay characteristics in the interview thus making them unacceptable. He interviews actors and political leaders and always ends up making crude and vulgar jokes and comments. Bruno has adopted a baby named O.J. from Africa but the baby is taken away from him after he showed pictures of the baby with other vulgar scenes.

Bruno also realizes that all the famous actors of Hollywood such as Tom Cruise and John Travolta are straight. So he vows to become straight himself and leaves Lutz. After a few months, he is able to become straight and he names himself Straight-Dave. Lutz meets him and Bruno again feels the love he has for him and becomes gay again. Bruno wears a yellow pair of shorts and a sleeveless shirt. He also wears a yellow hat on his head.
